As Director of Virtual Schools for Shelby County Schools, Cleon managed multimillion-dollar budgets and dramatically increased online course enrollment from 500 to 4,000 students annually. His passion for equity led him to found initiatives like Memphis Virtual School for Incarcerated Youths and the Just for Fun Program, providing quality education for marginalized populations and ensuring opportunities for lifelong learning and success.

Cleon holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and Technical Education, a Master of Science in Policy Studies, and has completed doctoral coursework in Instructional Design & Technology.
