Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant HVAC Trainer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role will support our primary HVAC Trainer in delivering comprehensive training programs, ensuring participants acquire essential skills and knowledge for success in the HVAC industry.
Location: This is a remote role that will require frequent travel to locations including Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Greenville, SC.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and refinement of HVAC training curriculum, under the guidance of the primary HVAC Trainer.
Support hands-on training sessions for participants, focusing on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
Provide supervision and guidance during practical training exercises to ensure safety, compliance, and effective learning outcomes.
Collaborate with instructional design teams to prepare training materials, presentations, and assessments.
Assist in the maintenance and organization of HVAC labs, ensuring they are well-equipped and conducive to learning.
Utilize classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment and engage participants effectively.
Support struggling learners by providing additional resources, individualized instruction, and mentorship.
Travel to various locations as needed, up to 75% of the time, to assist in conducting training sessions and supporting program initiatives.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and construction principles; prior experience in HVAC installation or maintenance is desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in training environments.
Willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced HVAC trainers.
Familiarity with classroom management techniques and supporting diverse learners is a plus.
Salary range: $65,000- $75,000
